Exceptional Reaction to Kérastase Chroma Absolu
Those who know me are aware of my admiration for Kérastase products, especially their hair masks. Having colored hair, I couldn’t resist trying out the Chroma Absolu, as it is a line dedicated to them.
But what does this line promise? More shine, less frizz, and stronger roots. This line was developed with amino acids, tartaric acid, and lactic acid, which together contribute to a gentle scalp cleansing while smoothing the hair.
In this case, I tried the shampoo and the mask, which are essential products in a hair care routine. However, there are still more products available for a complete ritual.

According to the brand, this shampoo is enriched with glycerin, amino acids, and tiger grass, providing intense care and nourishment, leaving the hair protected, hydrated, and strengthened. I must admit that this shampoo’s effectiveness seemed very similar to others from different lines, such as Génesis. Kérastase Chroma Absolu mask
I love Kérastase masks, and to me, the brand has the best ones I’ve ever tried. This one is no exception! According to the brand, this mask promises to fill the hair, minimizing porosity, frizz, and color oxidation.
With a creamy texture, you don’t need to use a lot of product, as a small amount is enough to make your hair softer. The reduction in frizz is noticeable. However, for frizz, the brand has a more suitable mask. If that is the main goal, the Maskeratine mask from the Discipline range performs that role better.
To conclude, the scent of this line is wonderful and, for me, it is what makes me enjoy Kérastase products even more. A floral aroma, developed by perfumers Dominique Hazael-Massieux and Isabelle Abram, features Neroli prominently. It is absolutely delightful!
